Call For Papers
The GEOMATE International Conference proudly jointed with Suranaree university of Technology is an annual international conference on Sustainable and Smart Geotechnical Engineering, Sustainable and Smart Structural Engineering, Sustainable and Smart Water and Wastewater Engineering, Sustainable and Smart Construction Materials, Sustainable and Smart Environmental Engineering, Sustainable and Smart Transportation Engineering, and Sustainable and Smart Construction Management. GEOMATE2024 will be held from 13 – 15 November 2024 in Grande Centre Point Space Pattaya, Thailand as a hybrid event (virtual and face-to-face presentations). The selected papers will be evaluated to receive the following awards for "Best Paper" and "Best Presentation" for each parallel session.
Authors are invited to submit the title and an abstract of about 150-250 words in English in MSWORD/PD|DF by online abstract submission form using the conference website (geomate2024.com). The proceedings in CDROM/USB including full papers with page numbering will be provided at the conference. The proceedings will carry an ISBN reference. English will be the official language of this conference.

Useful Guidelines
Each submission, including a title and an abstract of 150-250 English words, needs to be formatted via the conference website. All the submission files are required to follow the conference template.
After being accepted by the Conference, you are also invited to submit your full manuscripts and Copyright Form for the Conference. The papers will then undergo a double-blind review process.

1. When and where will this event happen?
GEOMATE 2024 will be held from 13 to 15 November 2024 in Pattaya, Thailand as a hybrid event (virtual and face-to-face presentations)
2. What does the registration fee include?
The conference registration fee includes admission to all keynote and parallel sessions, poster viewing, tea/coffee and lunches, conference kits, a Certificate of Acknowledgement (for authors/ presenters)/ Certificate of Participation (for other participants), and a field visit. Conference kits consisting of certificates, conference program, name badges, and proceedings will also be delivered digitally to all the participants.
3. Do I receive a confirmation email after I finish my registration?
Yes, a confirmation email will be sent to you when you complete your registration.

4. If I am not able to attend the conference, can I share my slot with the other?
The registration can be transferred to the other so that he/she can participate the conference. Any changes should be informed to the organizing committee via email: geomate2024@g.sut.ac.th.
5. If some unexpected situations happen from the side of the conference, is the registration fee refunded?
If force majeure clauses like a war, crime, an earthquake or the others that prevent us organizing the conference, the organizing committee holds the right to cancel the conference and the fee is not refunded.
6. If I want to publish my paper indexed by Scopus, WoS/Clarivate, EI, or Compendex, how can I proceed the procedure?
The chosen papers will be printed in the conference proceedings in a PDF format and under ISSN issued by the International Journal of GEOMATE, Smart Construction and Sustainable Cities, Suranaree Journal of Science and Technology and will be sent to indexing services such as Scopus, WoS/Clarivate, EI, and Compendex.
All papers are reviewed by two peers and the awards will be given to highly commended ones. The papers recommended by conference reviewers will be published with a nominal fee provided that they are carefully revised, rewritten and reformatted according to reviewers’ comments and journal templates.
7. If the participant is a co-author and student at the university, how can he/she register to attend the conference?
Participant as a student needs to send a proof of student ID card to the email: geomate2024@g.sut.ac.th after finishing registering on the website.
